Legendary Oakland Raider receiver Tim Brown has once
again become one of the 18 finalist for induction to the Pro Football Hall of
Fame. Brown was one of two wide receiver finalists who was announced Thursday night,
along with former Indianapolis Colt, Marvin Harrison. Brown has been a finalist
every year since 2010, which was his first year of induction eligibility.
The former Norte Dame Heisman Trophy winner and Oakland
Raider legend ended his NFL career with 1,094 career catches, 14,934 receiving
yards and 100 career touchdowns. Brown also played in 9 Pro Bowls throughout
his 17 year NFL career.
Brown has solid chance this year to finally be enshrined
in Canton, Ohio and become the twenty-third Oakland Raider selected into the
Pro Football Hall of Fame.
